China Prospects was founded in 2005 by Janet Carmosky, a veteran China business specialist.  From strengths in research, strategy, and communications, China Prospects helps organizations new to the US-China business dynamic to think strategically, position for respect in their industry, and understand and respond effectively to partnership and growth opportunities.

Rather than carry a permanent staff of junior consultants, in each engagement Janet draws on her rolodex of known specialists in China and the USA to resource a project according  to specific client needs and budget. Through management of specialists in market research, sourcing and supply chain management, production management, technical assessment, government relations, accounting, banking, legal counsel including IP, China Prospects works to bring clients to a point of greater confidence and understanding, and introduce resources who can support implementation.
